- Before you buy a pop up gazebo, you should take the net weight into consideration. Usually, the heavier the weight, the more heavy duty the gazebo. If possible, you should know both weights of the sides and frame and do a comparison.
- Check the condition before events. If there are scratches on the cover? If the Velcro still work? If there are broken parts on the frame? You do not want a bad experience.
- Anchor your pop up gazebo well. Wind is the always major killer for shelters like this. NO matter if it is a sunny day when you go out, just in case, you do not want the wind blow down your gazebo and destroy everything inside.
- Do not leave your pop up gazebo outside unattended overnight. Sometimes, events last for days and we bother to take it down. But there’s potential risk of damages because we have no control of the weather during the night.
- Watch out the animals. I have heard several damages caused by animal attack. Mice and cats rank top on the list. Mice chew through the bag and the fabric inside. And cat scratch through the fabric which result in water leaking.
