DO NOT BUY CHEAP POP UP GAZEBO

Currently I find some websites that sell pop up gazebos at a very cheap price. Spending less than £50, you’ll have one right in front of your door. And of course, they all have considerably good sale volume. I was shocked at first, but after I saw the detailed product description, they will not be on my shopping list.

Firstly, the description is vague. They do not tell you what is the cover and sides made of. Some may tell you the material, but without detailed specification you cannot compare with the other sellers. Some people may only see the price and ignore the details. When they get the product, they are too late to regret. Usually, it has two units for textiles. One is Denier (D), and the other is gram per square meter which always abbreviate in (G) or (GSM). If there’s no such unit in the description, do not buy it.

Secondly, exaggerate the performance. One of the website state that their pop up gazebo is waterproof. With price like that, I really can’t believe it. From my years of experience, it is still not waterproof even you pay double the price for one. They just want to catch their competitors and exaggerate the performance. If you use it in a rainy day, congratulations, you’ll take a shower for free. But how to identify if a pop up gazebo is waterproof? The answer is simple, you get what you pay for.

Lastly, don’t trust the warranty. With price like that, it usually does not have any warranty, which means you only have 3-5 times of use before it collapses to the ground. And the seller will not be responsible at that time. You should look for a seller who offers at least 12 months warranty.
Besides the points above, the cheap gazebo also has no sides which may be a problem. And the lower height may also be a problem for the tall.
